Bundha is a place of meaning
Bundha proudly acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we stand.
The name Bundha comes from Woi Wurrung language, meaning “unity” – a powerful reflection of the centre’s purpose and spirit.
The building features a striking mural by Wurundjeri man, Alex Kerr, celebrating local stories, community strength, and the vibrant energy of the Inner North. This artwork celebrates First Peoples’ community sporting heroes, with one of the aims being to inspire the youth visiting the Centre and broader Fitzroy Gasworks precinct.
This isn’t just a place to break a sweat – it’s where connections are made, goals are smashed, and the local spirit shines. Whether you’re here to serve, shoot, score, sit, sip or stretch, Bundha is your home for movement and connection.
