Hey Members and Bundha Community,
As you may have noticed, roadworks have begun on the Queens Parade Service Lane. This project, led by Development Victoria, includes upgrades to the service lane and the creation of a new car park to support access to Bundha Sports Centre in the future. These works are expected to take six months to complete.
From the street, it may look like Bundha is closed or that our entrance is inaccessible — this is not the case. We are open and will remain open for the entire duration of the works.
Please refer to the map below for directions on how to access Bundha’s entrance via Queens Parade and George St.
Option 1 – Queens Parade Entrance
- Follow the green dotted line on the map
- If you are coming from the corner of Queens Parade and Smith St, you will need to cross Queens Parade and walk along the other side of the road, and then cross back over Queens Parade near the corner of George St.
- Enter near the corner of Queens Parade and George St where Wurun Senior Campus High School is.
- From here you will walk down the footpath in front of the school
- Turn right to walk past the school’s entrance
- Walk across the concrete entry way to Bundha’s entrance
Option 2 – George St Entrance
- Alternatively, you can enter via the loading dock located on George St
- Follow the yellow dotted line on the map
- Walk across the loading dock (please be mindful of cars) towards the largescale mural on the side of the Bundha building.
- Turn left at the end of the mural and walk down towards the Bundha entrance.
Parking Options
We understand parking options have been reduced during this time with Queens Parade Service Road closed. Other options include:
- Along Smith St, closest to the Fitzroy Gasworks Site
- Jamieson St
- Along Alexandra Parade, closest to the Fitzroy Gasworks Site
- Mackean St
Disabled Parking: Please contact us to discuss options available.
Bike racks will remain available for the duration of the works.
